Shenandoah/Lexington Cabin Rentals

Anyone have any suggestions for cabin rentals in the Shenandoah/Lexington or even Luary area?

We want one that's pet friendly also.  I'm not having much luck on homeaway.com or vrbo.com and a few google searches.

We're hoping to go for the weekend in late October, so I don't think weather, etc would be an issue if any are higher up the mountains.

If you don't mind cooking over a camp fire, I suggest KOA Kabins.  They're pet-friendly and not much more than a place to sleep at the end of the day but they do have AC/heat instead of full-on camping. Community bathroom though - but they were decent when we stayed there about 2.5 years ago and not very far from anything you'd want to do while staying there.

Have you checked at Douthat state park?  I'm not sure on their pet policy but it's one of my favorite parks in Va.

Luray!  Shenandoah River Cabins....pet friendly cabins each with their own huge hot tub...beds are kinda not so comfy but i have a very picky light sleeping husband.  WE LOVED IT THERE.  I can't wait to go back.  Every cabin is on the river, the luray caverns are great, wineries, and Wasmund's whisky distillary!  We honeymooned there in april and i desperatly want to return.
