Blank Slate

We just purchased a new construction home and need to do some landscaping as we have dirt right now. They are coming back to do the yard in May but right now we have nothing and I want to get started.

We have called a few landscaping companies and are getting quotes but I wanted some tips and suggestions on where to even start.

Thanks!

Re: Blank Slate

  • I hired a landscape designer who charged by the hour and gave me a detailed plan.

  • Dr. Loretta, did your landscape designer give you a plan that included what materials exactly to use and which plants to put where, or did he/she just put sidewalk/flowerbed plans and their location and leave the finishing details planning to you?
