Hi Portlanders. I need a hotel/B&B for Wed. April 28th

Hi ladies,

Seattle Nestie here.  We will be visiting my in-laws next week and they have offered to babysit on Wednesday night.  So, any suggestions?

We'd like to stay within 2 hours of Portland.  DH is campaigning for Newport and the Rogue brewery.  (They have wine, right?)  I would love a modern/spa-feeling boutique hotel.  Also, are there any fun events going on in the middle of the week?

Ideas?  Thanks!

  • What's your budget and where would you like to stay? There is a great place in Manzanita on the coast called the Inn at Manzanita. They have a jacuzzi in the room and a gas fireplace and a cool captain's bed. They are right on the beach and it's not very crowded there.

When you're on the coast, stop by the Nehalem Bay Winery. They have free samples and are really nice and the wine is good too.

Or you could find a B&B in wine country, near Dundee.

  • Dh and I love Stephanie Inn at Cannon Beach.

  • Check out Coast Cabins in manzanita. DH and I are booked for July and a bunch of my gf have highly recommended the spot.
