DH and I took DS to Nashville's Earth Day celebration last Saturday. It was held at a park that DH visits a few times a week for work. Today DH informed that after the bash was over and everyone was gone, there was trash everywhere which means we should boycott it next year. There is still a lot of cleaning up to do, from what I understand.
He didn't really want to go in the first place because *gasp* "there might be hippies" LOL! Now, I'll really have to think of a better way to convince him to go again with me next year.

Re: Oh the irony!
Wow, I would have thought there would be trash and recycling bins everywhere.
Lol@hippies
Ditto.
And we're just outside of Nashville
That's the thing. There were!! They even had compost bins with signs that said Please Compost ALL Food or something like that.
