I saw your post about your HOA not allowing solar panels. I didn't think ours would either but then we found out about the California Solar Power Act which makes it illegal for them to not allow us to install them. I had no idea this was even out there! I'm not sure where you live but maybe it's something you could check into!
Although they can't refuse us we did have to get the plans approved and have our neighbors sign a form that said we showed them the plans.
We get them installed on May 5th! We're so excited!!

Hi Lorik! Sorry for not responding sooner, I don't generally nest on the weekends, too much to do at home. That's awesome about your solar panels, I'm so jealous! I have heard about laws like that. We're not in our forever home, we hope to only be here for a few more years. So as much as I would loooovve to have solar panels, it's just not worth the hassle of battling with the HOA and the investment for a home we're not going to stay in. Now our forever home in Upstate NY, that's another story.
