busy garden shopping day!

first we hit up the charity plant sale and came home with $115 worth of veggie plants, house plants, and some annuals (some of these are for my dad's garden)

then we went to HD, Lowes, and Earl May and rounded up the 5 types of compost for our SFG and some peet moss.  We also purchased a redbud tree for our front yard for $99 at Earl May and they offered us free delivery!

my dad is installing my potting bench this weekend, I can't wait!

Re: busy garden shopping day!

  • That's awesome, and I'm jealous!  I still have to get the ingredients for the Mel's Mix for my SFG.  I did manage to come home with almost $40 of plants today, though.  Made a nice planter for our front porch, then was paranoid it would be too cold tonight, so now all the plants, including the planter, are in the garage!  LOL.
