So i am feeling a bit better today.  The demerol that Carl picked up is helping alot. 

You ladies are right.  Pitocin did make things worse.  They used that when i was induced with Chad 11 years ago, but forgot about how bad it hurt.  Oh well.. my little boy is perfect and my husband has been a SAINT!  Helping me with EVERYTHING.

I don't think I got a chance to respond to your post yesterday but I did read it and I'm glad that you are feeling better now.  I have to agree that I also found an induced labor with pitocin to be much more difficult, so please do not be hard on yourself about needing a little help.  I took the epidural even in my non-induced labor, though, LOL!

I didnt read your post from yesterday but I just saw this and I am glad that you are feeling better and YEAH for Carl helping out!!  Thats sucks about the Pitocin.  I so hope with #2 that I dont have an induced labor.  I will take natural childbirth over that!

I also had an awful labor with Pitocin and desperately needed an epideral after many hours of trying to do it on my own.  Then after all that, needed a C section!  It was 36 hours of hell! but yes they are definitely worth it in the end!  Glad your feeling better!
