  • I love reading people's birth stories, thanks for sharing Sadie's story.

  • Wow, thanks for sharing. I don't have any friends in RL with babies yet so it's really helpful to hear these birth stories.
  • I have a question, you said that after the Dr broke your water, your contractions got much stronger and it was hard for you to be in bed, but you had to stay in bed, why was that?  Just wondering because I want to go natural too and my Dr didnt say anything about having to stay in bed after my water broke.  I have an appt tomorrow and want to know if this is something I should ask about.
  • What a great story! thanks for sharing!

Dani I am guessing once you get hooked up to the monitors and all the IV's and what not that you can be walking around. Thats just my guess though I would be completly off.

  • I'm not having an iv (will have a hep/saline lock) with monitoring for 20 min every hr, guess I was wondering if the monitoring becomes mandatory when you water breaks or if it depends on the doc.
  • WOW! Thanks for sharing!

All I have to say about that is HELL NO!!!!!

I loved my epi . . . had zero issues with it . . . and will be doing that next time BEFORE I let them break my water.  :)
