Harrisburg Ladies -- Susquehanna Township?
DH & I will be relocating to Harrisburg the end of May/beginning of June. I found a rental property located in Susquehanna Township. Is this a good area?
I really like the Hummelstown/Hershey area, but this rental is what we're looking for at a lower price & only about 15 mins (according to mapquest) from where DH will be working in the Colonial Park area.
Thoughts?

My mom has taught in that district for years and years now - I've always heard the same things as PP about the tax rates, but she hadn't mentioned that any of her friends who live in the Twp. have had complaints about the other rates rising. Wouldn't totally surprise me, though.
Overall, it's a relatively nice area w/close proximity to a lot - it's just on the edge of the city, so you have easy access to the riverfront, 2nd St, etc., and everything that has to offer, and it's also well-developed in terms of shopping and restaurants - Colonial Park has a lot of restaurants, a mall, shopping centers, and so on. ST itself has also had a lot spring up over the past 10-15 years in regards to restaurants, shopping, and businesses.
Depending on where you're living in ST and where your H is working in CP, I would guess he could potentially be less than 15 mins from his job - they're basically side-by-side (CP on the opposite side of the Twp. away from the city). You also have very easy access to the interstate (81/83), which is convenient for traveling and going to other areas nearby.
