-->HAPPY MONDAY!<--
Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? Do anything fun? What's up for the week?
Re: -->HAPPY MONDAY!<--
Fri: Sushi and martinis and then fro yo with DH
Sat: volunteered all day with my friend. We then all had Thai and fro yo for dinner.
Sun: Read, relaxed, made dinner
I start working tomorrow!
Friday: Don't remember.
Saturday: LBIL's baseball game in HB. Since my family lives just a few blocks away, they came to watch too. Saw my brother again and am now really worried about him. I don't know if it's drugs or mental health at play, but he looks like he has physically deteriorated since Tuesday when I last saw him. He won't talk about it though.
Sunday: Laundry
Oh em gee I'm so tired today. Didn't do a whole lot this weekend but I just feel wiped out because of allergies.
Friday we went to dinner at our fave mexican restaurant. Sat outside had a margarita. Then we came home and I went to bed at about 9 or 9:30 it was an emotional day so I was exhausted.
Saturday we went grocery shopping and Erik made ribs but they were ruined because he used way too much salt on them. I had 2 ribs and he had 3 and then he was so mad he threw them all away. He usually makes the best ribs around, not sure what happened. But they were not good!
Sunday we went out to breakfast and enjoyed the afternoon outside. Got some Frozen yogurt, and then went home and watched The Blind Side and Funny People. I did not like funny people it was toooooo dang long! Dragged and dragged I thought.
Fri- did some spring cleaning, cleaned out a bunch of clothes
Sat- breakfast with friends, errands, saw The Back Up Plan with a friend
Sun- laid out by the pool and got sunburnt, saw a friend's new puppy
Today I'm registering my daughter for preschool, Wednesday I have a consultation for Lasik (I'd like more recs if anyone has any), then friday going to a Dodger game
this weekend went by way too fast. ;(
fri: flew home, flight was almost 2 hrs late so I didn't get home until about 8pm. ate dinner, passed out
sat: yard work, had date night at a new mexican place with tasty margs
sun: more yard work, packed, ran errands, stopped for froyo
this week: work, work, and more work!
Weekend was lots of fun, but I definitely overindulged. We picked up our houseguests on Friday, and we were all real good at pacing ourselves until we started playing a card drinking game at 1:00 a.m. I didn't feel normal until Sunday
We hung out and played board games Friday, and went down to Laguna to hang out Saturday afternoon, then had dinner at Old Vine on Saturday night. Sunday we hung out by the pool, I took some pictures, and then we took them to the airport.
I'm still exhausted but it was great fun!
My weekend was really sh!tty.
This week I am looking forward to having dinner cooked by a dirty hot Frenchman.
uh oh, hope your monday is better?
Starlily
our weekend was great but exhausting!
Fri: Angels game fun times
Sat: Spa day at Glen Ivy w/girlfriends, BBQ at our place afterward
Sun: We did a city of Fullerton Garden Tour, went to the Santa Fe Springs swap meet (My new favorite place to spend a random Sunday. I mean, where else can you walk around drinking giant beers and buy t-shirts that say "Compton" or "Pico Rivera"??), happy hour at the Summit House and then came home and totally wrecked my diet by eating half of a pizza while sitting around our fire pit.
this week: just back to the old diet/workout plan. Pizza last night = +3 lbs. Ugh.
Happy Monday
We did a lot of sorting & packing this weekend and I finally started refinishing my nightstands (which I've been saying I was going to do for about a year now). Bella started pulling herself up on things so we're glad we're moving to a single story - full mobility is just around the corner...
This week: R's birthday, more packing, more sorting, ordering our large item trash pickup, trying to talk R out of keeping one of our foster puppies.
Socializing foster puppies since 2009

I had a great weekend. Lots of reading, working out, relaxing.
Fri - dinner w/H at our fave Brazilian place.
Sat - lounged
Sun - shopping with H in Carlsbad
I'm pumped this week at work bc the BOSS IS ON VACAY!!!
I had a great weekend.
Friday: HH with my dept chair, where I got to vent
Sat: went out to karaoke
Sun: LA Times Festival of Books, got a gazillion books signed, met some of my favorite authors, had a blast
Right now: Took off work to go hear Ele Wiesel speak. It was amazing.
That is so awesome! Was he signing books too, or just giving a talk?
This has been one hell of a fantastic weekend!
Friday: Rehearsal in the afternoon, yummy dinner at home with H
Saturday: Final rehearsal, spray tan, relax at home
Sunday: Final weigh-in/pictures, Festival of Books with some cool chicks and really awesome authors.
Monday: Spent most of the day at a warehouse in the Valley shooting a fitness DVD. Both exhausting and exhilarating. Went out for mexican food and drinks with the crew afterwards - great end to an amazing weekend.
Weekend started a bit sketchy and ended with some awesome.
Fri: The princess had her talent show at school and was of course tremendous. The ex and I had a good time fawning all over her and an awkward moment when the woman in front of us asked how long we'd been married. I grinned and told her we'd been divorced for 5 years and she looked like she wanted to swallow her tongue. Priceless.
Sat: Emo day of shopping for clothes followed by awkward turtle conversation which made it an emo night.
Sun: Festival of Books with some awesome ladies, got a bunch of books signed, and ate a hot dog that my vegetarian tummy is still mad at me for. Good times.
This week, busy at work and some quality time with the princess this weekend.
Sadly, he wasn't signing books. I collect signed books and having a signed copy of Night would have made my life.
His talk was AMAZING, though.
