So we want a retaining wall...but for the low-low :)

1.  Does anyone know of any great before and after landscaping projects including retaining walls?

2.  Anyone great bios or RMS retaining wall photos to share?

3.  Anyone here ever DIY'd one?

  • We are getting ready to do this.  We have 2 bushes in front of our house that are in front of a part of the house that protrudes over the lower half (we live in a tri-lvel) and no grass grows there.  So we measured the area we need to cover and took it to Menard's.  We were clueless, but found a great guy to help us out.  We figured out how many blocks we need & he told us how to install them & the other materials we need. It's an area that's 21' x 6' so the price will be around $200 for the kind of blocks we want to use.  We weren't sure how many levels we should do, so he suggested buying 3 blocks & taking them home to play with them.  Soooooooo glad we did this!  We thought we would go 3 levels high but 2 is perfect!!  I will try & remember to post pics once we do it.
