Local anniversary locations?
I'm looking for a nice romantic place for dh and I to go to on our 1 year anniversary in October. We liked Hocking Hills but it's kind of pricey for that time of year.
We want to stay within a few hours of home and want romantic but not too expensive.
Where have you gone and where did you stay when you were there? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

I got married in October too. We love going to Hocking Hills for our anniversary. The fall foilage is beautiful and it's great to enjoy some peace and tranquility. We've stayed in the Love Bug Cabins and Comfort in the Woods Cabins. I would highly recommend both. Comfort in the Woods is much larger in size. You can Google both for more information. We always pack a cooler with food to take with us and cook/grill at the cabin, which cuts down on cost. Also, the primary attraction in Hocking Hills is nature (hiking, fishing, caves, etc.) and it's all free!
We're looking into going to Atwood Lake Resort this year to try someplace different.
