Sophie still has fever today. UGH. I just want to wish this away for her. Good news is that she gets to see the doctor at 2:15...hopefully we get some answers. I was such a wreck going into work this morning ( we have Ohio Achievement Assessments today, and I had to scribe for a kiddo). The guidance counselor, an intervention specialist and secretaries all separately asked how Sophie was doing this morning, and I got choked up everytime. I felt like everyone was walking on eggshells around me in fear that I might Lise it...haha. It is funny now that I think of it. I was so worried about her bc her fever was high last night and I left this morning before she woke up. I just got home to relieve Steve...he has a lab at 1:30 that he has to attend...he said her fever was at 99.7 this morning, which is better than last night!! She is napping now, so I hope she is a happy girl when she wakes up!!
Re: Home again...
Poor Sophie! I really hope she is feeling better- I cannot imagine how it must be for you when there is so little we can do for them at this age, and they can't even tell you what they are feeling.
It must be the week for testing! My students are taking the ELAs (English Language Arts) today.
