So, we were thinking about having breakfast for dinner...idk about y'all but I love it. Is that retarded??
I feel like I want to make the reception as unique as possible so if anyone can think of any unique ideas let me know!
Re: Unique reception ideas
OMG I loooooove breakfast for dinner. I would be all over that. Though you might want to make that known because some people might be expecting typical dinner foods.
now I want breakfast.
can I come to the reception? haha
If you go for a breakfast reception, there are a number of options you can do. I've been to a restaurant that offered salmon eggs benedict and crabcake eggs benedict. I haven't tried either of them, but they sound delicious and it's a way to sort of "fancy" it up a bit. Blintzes or crepes can be "fancy" breakfast food too.
I just had dinner, but I think I'm getting hungry again lol.
Yum, that sounds good. I think it's a great idea! I would love to go to a reception and have breakfast. I would definitely do crepes, sooo yummy!

you can absolutely come!!
I think it works if you're having a morning or afternoon reception but I personally think people might be a little turned off if you serve breakfast foods at an evening reception instead of dinner type foods.
You can always do something more casual than a typical sit down dinner reception like a cocktail reception.
