OMG Booked a Boudoir session!

Someone tell me i'm not crazy. I know I brought it up a few weeks ago but I have been in email contact with the photographer and booked my session for June 13th. I can't believe it. I hate getting my picture taken and never like the way they come out but for some reason I believe these will be different. Now to get out of the house and take the 1.5hr road trip without the Mr.

For those of you that said you did them did you bring anything of your husbands with you? I've been thinking about taking the Mr's bass...but how i'll get that out of the house I don't know.

That is SO exciting!  I want to do this but want to lose some weight first.  I've heard that a lot of photographers will serve some wine first to help you relax- maybe ask about that if you think you're going to be uneasy in front of the camera.  The only thing I can think of I would bring is some of DH's shirts.  Although I think posing semi-nude with his bass would be pretty sexy!

I don't really have any suggestions, but I have to say I'm a little bit jealous. I second the idea of bringing hubby's shirt, though.  How hot is it to turn a piece of his wardrobe into a sex object?  MH has a collection of flannel shirts he's really attached to and if I were to do B-pics, I would definitely incorporate one.

Awesome!! I had so much fun doing mine! I took DH's hockey jersey. I am not secure with my body so I bought a simple black robe and was able to do so much with it. I also got some killer shoes. Bring face powder because you will got hot and your face will get shiny (if you are using lighting)

WOW have fun!! I wanted to do that as a gift to Dh for our wedding gift, but it was just a little much after I went overboard on the wedding. I want to get a little more in shape and get them done for our 1st anniversary.

I'm glad you guys think it's not crazy. I literally have like 3 girlfriends and none of them understand. I haven't told them i'm doing it, I just brought it up in general discussion one time and they were like...why,what's the point. Not encouraging. You guys have given me some great ideas though. Now to stop myself from constantly looking at lingerie LOL.

You are so not crazy!  I want to do this so bad, but want to lose weight, dang it.  That's very cool of you and your DH will love them!  Def. drink some wine before so you can relax.  I think pics in his button down shirts and his bass (especially) would be AH mazing!  I want to do some in my DH's uniform (pilot)...    Just send him up to the grocery store before you leave then take his bass.  if he notices just say you had to borrow it.  Have fun!

That is awesome, you're definitely not crazy! I think they're something a lot more popular on the Knot/nest than in IRL so don't worry about what your friends say.

I haven't done them (yet) so I don't have any advice, but your ideas with DH's clothes and/or his bass would be so sexy! Your photog has some awesome stuff in her portfolio, you are gonna look GREAT! So exciting
