Finally found a use for my disposable washcloths!
SIL gave me a bunch of huggies one-use washcloths after my C-section - for some reason they were better for cleaning it than soap and water (?). They are the kind with the soap already in them, and then you just pitch them when you're done. I have 2 whole boxes that have sat in my bathroom cupboard since DD was born 19 months ago.
Well I started riding my bike to work and I just shower and get ready here. I can use the cloths at work so I don't have to keep a wash cloth of loofa here to absorb locker room bacteria! The downside? I may buy more when they're gone -- I think I just found a disposable I can't give up
Re: Finally found a use for my disposable washcloths!
Well because I don't have a private place to store my shower stuff -- it sits on top of the locker bank becuase there are only 5 lockers and we're not allowed to store stuff in them. So the alternative would be to bring a new washcloth every day, plus make sure I have body wash and whatnot, and then have to tote home a wet wash cloth.
FWIW, they are organic...IDK much about the soap they use, but the box says organic.
Couldn't you just keep a travel bottle of body wash and a washcloth in one of those bags for wet cloth diapers? As soon as you get home from work, toss the wet one in the washer and replace it with a dry one and slip it back into your purse or backpack.
I'm not judging because I have wasteful things that I've yet to completely give up yet too, but it seems like there's an easy answer to this one.
