4/28 Daily Workout Routine
What's your workout routine?
Re: 4/28 Daily Workout Routine
Any day there is nice weather, I walk a mile around the neighborhood with DH. Many days, I walk a mile to 2 miles at lunch as well. It depends on how busy I am and how nice out it is. Other than that, I have physical therapy twice a week for my knee.
Really, I need to get into a better workout routine. Right now I walk most days, but not always and it's not that intense so it's not helping me drop any weight or tone up much. DH and I were invited to a free yoga class, so we are going to try it. Then this fall, we are starting karate. I've always wanted to take it and never have, so what time's better than now (well fall because I can workout outside during the spring and summer =P). So we'll see how that goes.
I would love to be able to walk/jog every single day and do some yoga/strength training every other day. Plus. I'd like to do intense ab workouts at least 3 times a week. I just don't have the motivation, time, or energy. Hopefully since bikini season is right around the corner, I will get motivation and start a real routine.
I'm finishing up the Insanity program. I haven't really dropped any weight I don't think but I have lost inches. Haven't checked in a while because I get super freaky about that kinda thing and my metabolism is super slow because I'm recovering from an eating disorder. A lot of people I know drop weight instantly and can tell a huge difference. It's a big commitment though, super hard core.
I used to run and I kinda miss it but after 6 years of running 3 miles a day on the same route it started to just be such a drag.

So excited to meet Amelia Catherine!
Lately I have been bad about working out, but I'm still losing weight just by watching what I eat, including fruits/veggies in every meal/snack, eating smaller portions, eating more times througout the day and drinking lots of water!
Typically when I do work out, it's here at home and will include walking the dog (at least once a day) and doing the 30 Day Shred. I miss running but I did something to my knee a while back and haven't had it checked out yet; whenever I try to get back to running, it starts hurting so...
Workout routine? Carrying my 25lb son up and down the stairs. Seriously, I try to do what I can. I belong to the Mauldin Sports Center and go there 4 or 5 days a week after work. Mondays I do weight training class. The other days I do the treadmill or the elliptical. The gym is somewhat crowded when I get there, so I can't do much else besides treadmill or elliptical. I only spend 30 minutes there- since I'd like to get home to Nicholas and spend time with him after working all day. Oh and on nice days I like to walk around the neighborhood w/Nicholas in his stroller.
