Nestie Runners- Raleigh Area

Just wanted to make sure everyone checked out Groupon today.  For $25 you can get $50 worth of shoes or running apparel from Raleigh Running Outfitters (Cary location).  I'm super excited to get my running soes now!

Re: Nestie Runners- Raleigh Area

  • I was very excited to see that too!

I meant to page you b/c I was searching for races on active.com and saw this advertised and thought it might interest you:

  • Oh Terp, you rock!!!  This looks awesome!  Although, I can't figure out how to sign up!

ETA:  I just sent the organizer an email to get more info about the fee and how to officially sign up.  The start of this works great because I'll almost be done with my summer classes and then can focus on running during my break from school!

  • Sorry to butt in but that program looks fantastic and i would be interested in doing it. Who else is joining? Can you pass along the info the organizer sends you??
  • Oh definitely!  I'd love to have some nesties to run with!
  • Hope it works out for you, I thought it looked like it would fit your needs well.  It's nice that it's an all women group, I think you'll be more likely to find others at same pace/ability.

I agree!  And I really like that they have clinics to teach you about running related topics (shoes, stretching, etc.).  I'm hoping after I do a few weeks of walking to start up C25K to get a jump start on this class, so that I'll feel more "prepared".
