So our videographer is ready for us to choose the song for our highlights video. Of course, we haven't thought about this at all yet, and I need help! I really like the fun, upbeat, and non-traditional songs, and this one immediately stood out: Here (In Your Arms), by hellogoodbye
But something keeps drawing me to this one as well, I love the indie rock vibe and the intimate feeling: Falling in Love in a Coffeeshop, by Landon Pigg
Any thoughts? I know they're total opposites, and I just keep going between the two. I guess I could give the videographer both, and ask which better fits the feel of the footage...
(And yes, I do keep saying "I"- DH isn't exactly very opinionated on this topic and he likes both of these)
Re: Wedding Video Song- help!
Can you use both??? "Falling in love" when they show the highlights from before and during your ceremony etc, then "Here in your arms" after the ceremony and into the reception?
Hm... that's a good idea! I'll ask him about that.
I think that might be one of the reasons I keep going back and forth- "Falling in Love" is mellow and love-y and would work so well for the ceremony, and "Here in Your Arms" would be perfect for the party part!
I think so too!
mmm, I love me some hellogoodbye! (mental note, must download to Ipod). Along those lines, I love First Day of My life by Bright Eyes..love, love it!
I also like the idea of having two songs, heck maybe three if it can be a super long video
