Hey chica!  Sorry I didn't respond yesterday-packing and being online doesn't mix as well as I'd like.

About the Em-ster--she is still a little off, and if she fell on the spectrum it would be on the Asberger's end (I haven't read the book, but I've heard about it)--but I'm not really going down that route anymore--I got irritated with the  Melmed Center that was evaluating her.  Love PCH though, they have great peeps there.

Her helmet was to reshape her head--it was really flat on one side due to the weak muscles in her neck.  The weakness made it so she didn't know where her body was in space (odd I know) so we had to do exercises and such.

I tried to insert a pic, but it won't work--I think it's a mac or safari thing :(

Maybe that will work:

How is your bro?  A good friend does a lot with special olympics and the kids are so awesome :)

Re: *Stacy*

  • ps-I forgot to say, I'm excited for you for tomorrow!  fingers crossed for a bfp!
  • OMG, that pic is SOOO cute!

That is very weird that she didn't know where her body was in space...I've never heard of that before.

My Bro is good....it's pretty crazy growing up with someone like him but it sure has taught me alot! :-)
