Did I hear the news correctly?
I was in a rush to get out the door this am but swore I heard a clip saying "decomposed body in Casey Anthony's car".
Is it true? I was waiting for the story but it didn't come on before I had to leave.
Re: Did I hear the news correctly?
What sucks even more is that the family CONTINUES to deny the results are correct.
I am sure they will have their own experts examine "the air" before they give in.
Crappy thing is, we still have no proof that "mother" killed the kid, and they know it. We just know she is no longer with us, and that is just horrible.
I just hope justice is served or karma gets that "mother" in the end.
And any family that was open with reporters and investigators up until the point that their daughter walks out of jail and then threatens to hose people down...yeah, they know what's up.
And I love Captain Obvious with the bail bond. "I never would have helped her if I knew she was going to cooperate." Uh, ya think? Did it LOOK like she had been cooperating up to that point anyway?
Yeah all of a sudden they are mute mice. What pisses me off the most is that she'll either
A)go along with partial immunity so she can say it was an accident when it wasn't.
or...
Keep insisting she didn't do it since there's no body and she's a psycho pathological liar that will continue to believe her lies and pull us through this mess.
If it was a murder I don't think Caylee's death was an accident she tried to cover up. She had way too much fun after the death of her child for it to be just an "accident."
I think she grew frustrated with her child and in a moment of rage or psychosis, because she's a psycho, killed her child, covered it up and went on with life like a single free woman with no child.
Plus, I find the situation in which she left the grandparents house, the whole jealousy with her mom thing to be very weird and indicative of the issues she had with her child and mother.
By the 400 pages we already know she's a calculative, manipulative, cold, psycho liar and is capable of anything.
At this point they are just waiting for the DNA results to come back on the trunk. If they had enough of a sample to run tests for decomposing chemicals in the carpet of the trunk, then there should be enough for a standard DNA test if it hasn't been obliterated by the decomp chemicals. If that comes back as the little girl, the mom will most likely get some sort of murder charge and at this point, I doubt the State Attorney is going to give her a deal because she has been very uncooperative.
The test that came back from the Body Farm is pretty interesting, I read about the development of it in the newest book on the Body Farm by Dr. Bass who runs the facility. My undergrad was forensic anthropology which is what Dr. Bass practices and teaches. They take a sample of soil or in this cas probably carpet from the trunk and they run it through a gas spectrometer to measure the presence and amounts of different chemicals. Specific combinations indicate whether it was a dead body or pizza and whether the dead body was animal or human. It's pretty accurate from what I have heard.
Being IF, I'm pretty pissed off too. Makes you wonder WTF God was thinking letting that skank have a child, but not me or the other countless IF women who'd be great moms.
