There are 2 of these in the front of the home that we are in the process of buying and I haven't a clue what they are!
Sorry for the big pic - I was afraid if I made it smaller you wouldn't be able to see it well enough.

ETA: it has tiny buds all over it so, it's something that's getting ready to flower.
