Sorry if this is a common question but we're in a total bind. I didn't see it posted.
Our printer has worked a.o.k.... until tonight. I pulled out the USB cable to attach it to my 'unidentified' scanner. It gave me some driver error messages so I tried to fix it but to no avail (REALLY old scanner that i do not have the software for). I plugged the USB cable back into the printer and now IT won't work at all. I can't figure out what the heck to do. I have a new computer with windows 7. The printer is a little bit older. It's an HP deskjet 5850.
So- is there a good site for me to find a (free?) driver. Is it fixable without going this route? I'm clueless.
Thanks
Re: all the sudden- printer driver issues??
HP's site has it and here's the link. Just click the link for which version of Windows 7 you have
