Need some decorating advice - PIP

What would you put on this wall?  The previous homeowners had a big framed mirror up, but took it with them.  I can't decide if a mirror in the kitchen is weird or not...

Ideas?

Do you drink wine? A big wine rack on the wall would be nice! I don't think I'm a fan of a mirror in the kitchen, but I'd have to see it.

Do you have nice a pot and pan set? I hang mine on the wall and I wish I had a space like that to do it.

Do you have a lot of cookbooks?  You could put a shelf up and put cookbooks on it. Or you could do some art like this:

Also, what about a calk menu/note board?  You could write your weekly menu, grocery lists, or notes to remember.

oooo!  I like all of these!  And my photographer self says a  big gallery wrap of Ben :-)  What about checking out Etsy??  You can search for items by color so maybe you'll find something unique that way.

I like the wine rack suggestion.  You could also do one of those hang-from-the-ceiling pot and pan racks.  Personally I would put a bunch of floating shelves on there and display my spices and clear pasta/flour/sugar canisters etc.  I am a big fan of using your food as decor in the kitchen.

Oooh, I like this idea! I like all the ideas, however we are not wine drinkers so that is out. 

I am definitely thinking shelving of some sort now!  Thanks ladies!
