suggestions needed

Hi everyone

I am looking for sugestions re what to plant in a raised bed in the front of house (hard to decribe) Anyway...I would love something that flowers, is easy, a perrienial, and deer/rabbit resistant. Maybe something that flowers  early to mid summer (as oppsed to spring flowering bulbs - we have lots of them and I would like to stagger the blooms)

any and all suggestions greatly appreciated :) thanks

Re: suggestions needed

  • daylilies might be a nice choice. there are many colors, and you can get some that rebloom throughout the season.
  • Daisies or black eyed susan's bloom all summer, my mom has mini roses in her box which do really well (you need to wrap in winter, prune in spring and feed, that's it).

Daisies, Verbena or Lantana all meet thiose criteria. Around here, the deer love daylilies.
