What do you use to wash dishes?

I'm currently trying to use up a thing of Palmolive soap that I had gotten free. I hate this stuff. Not only does it dry out my hands super bad, but it is hard to wash off and my dishes smell funny after using it. What is a better, eco-friendly dish soap?

Re: What do you use to wash dishes?

  • after I rid myself of Costco's EF verison of dish soap, I want to try the Pear one from Earth Friendly products.

  • I use Mrs Meyers Dish Soap, it is often on sale at Target
  • I have been using Seventh Generation dish soap for about 2 years and no problems! (They have lavender and lemon/orange citrus if smells are important.) My hands feel better than they did from all other chemical ladden soaps, plus I know it's better on the sewers and environment!

  • We use Mrs. Meyers dish soap and dishwasher liquid.  I also add a splash of vinegar to the dishwasher.  Both work great.  I get it from Whole Foods, but I think Target has it too.
