NOT impressed by the Charlie's Angels photography

So of course my sister sent me the link of the hospital pictures of the twins. I was expecting the traditional hospital pics. Had no idea about a "photographer" taking them. Well needless to say i think the pics are not good at all! Ok, they are my niece and nephew so they themselves are cute but wow, the photography is horrible! It looks like an amateur came in, tried to pose the babies in a cute-sy kinda way that you may see on a real professional site, and just took pics. There was no cleaning up of the pics either. And to top it off, the prices are OUTRAGEOUS for what you get! Come on Methodist, I expected more from you! Please send him back to his previous job, Glamour Shots.

  • Well you know this deserves a PIP...

  • Don't link, Holly.  Many photogs (and biz's, in general) have trackers.

julandjo - you can google.  Except it's spelled "Charley's."

  • See we were really impressed!  The only thing that I didn't like is that the one picture we requested was to have all 3 kids together.  The lady took one shot and then didn't even offer it to use to purchase.  I contacted the owner but there was nothing they could do because they delete them out of their system there at the hospital the same day (based upon whether they like them or not!).

I am going to go look on our blog and see if I put any of Josie's newborn shots up on it and I"ll link you there if I did...be right back.

  • I didn't have any on our blog-but when I get home tonight I can upload one if you want me to....
  • I'll try to paste the direct link but not sure if this will work. I mean seriously, #7, 17, 21, 23, 29,  and 34 are horrible. Milk face, could you at least clean that up? Nice backdrop that i can see. And seriously, $20 for a 4x6? !!!!!

  • i just linked but took it off since jenny said there might be a tracker....

  • They are def. not the best. I am sorry!

Josie's didn't look as awkward as some of theirs do...maybe a new photographer? But you would think they would hire people that had a bit more experience.

  • Yeah those aren't very good - her twins are super cute though!  you and your sister make cute babies ;)

btw, I am pretty sure they will be able to see where people are coming to their website from, using Statcounter or something similar.  It tells you where visitors are coming from.

  • Wow. I could do better than that w/ my P&S!

  • St. E's in Lincoln uses them too, and I wasn't impresssed with my niece's pics either, and yes the prices are ridiculous!  I'm sure they think they've got people in a position where they may not care, and take advantage...
  • They did Makaylies but hers came out great.  Heres a link to hers on facebook.  I think they did a good job. we just bought the cd so we had all the rigths and could go print the pictures anywhere we wanted.  figured it would be cheaper since we knew family wouldwant them.  IT was still 100 bucks but i think it was worth it

  • Awww, those babies are ADORABLE!  So cute.  Congrats to her and your whole family.

(Baby yawns, sneezes, and feet are the things that totally melt my heart.)

  • Josie's were much more like Makaylie's vs. Avery & Charlie's.

  • HOLY PRICES!!!!! I must be cheap...we have never done hospital pics with the girls, just two week pics with a photographer...for less than these crazy hospital prices Indifferent they def. need a better photog for that!!!

Your sister has ADORABLE babies by the way!!

  • I agree, I wasn't all that impressed with our either.  But, Delilah was not in a great mood when they came to photographer her.  I made sure to take a screen shot of her pics though.  :-)  That's what I did with Jameson's too.  I just want to see them, not necessarily print them.
  • I agree...the portraits created by Charley's Angels are NOT professional images - and they do charge pro prices!  Anyone with a point and shoot camera can create the very same quality images for FREE!

I too, would have expected more from Methodist and St E's.

  • Funny you write this. My name is Alissa Jean and I worked for Charley's Angels. I was trying to look up the address for my employer and came across this LOL.
