Where to look for granite and quartz counters

I've checked HD and Lowes and they're way too expensive for us (it'll take me forever to save up for the counter I want).  I was told to check local places, that they'll be a lot more reasonable.

I'm anxious to see what you find out here. I have seen ads in the Ad Pages for kitchen and Granite Creations with coupons, but have no idea if they are any good.  Not much help! Sorry!
  • We also looked at granite for our bar downstairs.  It ended up being very expensive, so we looked at getting granite tile instead.  Not sure if you're hip to that.  But we ended up finding granite tile that was I guess an ok price at The Tile Shop.  I'm not sure if they have more than one location, but the one we went to was in St. Peters.

Here's the website if you want to check them out.

  • Try Express granite in St. Peters, Missouri.  Here's their website http://www.expressgranite.com/

When we bought our house and ended up negotiating for granite counter tops in lieu of contractor grade carpet.  Our counter tops are from them.  We recently were quoted ~$290 for a 4 inch granite backsplash to match our counter tops(yeah contractor didn't include that).
