Vent: BC is making me crazy
This is really just a vent but feel free to add any advice or comments.
I have been on Loestrin 24 since Dec. I am calling my Dr. on Monday to get an appt. This is the 2nd month I didn't have a period (I already tested plus we are using condoms b/c of a health condition DH has). I have more acne then I have ever had in my life.
The final problem is a feel crazy around the time I should be having my period. I hate everything in my life. I feel ugly and unhappy. I am short with DH and feel frustrated with my students. DH is asks me whats wrong all the time b/c he says he can tell I am unhappy. It has happened the last three times in a row. Last month I finally had a big break down and cried for an hour to DH about random stuff like feeling fat and feeling like he doesn't want to have sex with me.I truly only feel like this during this time of the month. We have a very good sex life and DH tells me that I am beautiful and sexy all the time.
I am just so sick of this.
I feel better now.

I was on the Nuva Ring and had a similiar experience... I felt completely out of control and crazy.
DH and I decided that we would go back to using condoms because my mental health and stability was more important.
It was a great decision!
I hope your doctor is able to help you find something that will work for you!
I had issues with bc as well: periods that came and went at least twice in a month. And on the patch periods that lasted at least 2 weeks. H and I switched to just using condoms (instead of in addition to bc) and there was an immediate change in my outlook on life. SO much better.
I hope your dr can help you find something that works for you.
