Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

A vent about money and marriage
DH and I agreed to spend about $500 on his sisters wedding gift which was two nights in NYC since they are not going on their honeymoon until school get out. They have us $500 and we gave my brother $500 when he got married so it's a number we both feel good with.
A few weeks ago he tells me he might have to spend a bit more and I didn't ask but figured it would be maybe a hundred more. No biggie.?
Tonight he called his family to tell them about Craig and was updating me on what his sister said. I asked him after if he booked their rooms because their wedding is in two weeks. He then informed me he spent a bit more and I said how much is a bit? Oh......$930ish!!! That is much more than a bit!!!
Then he got upset with me for him spending over $400 more than agreed. I asked if he would get piiissed if I spent $1000 without telling, asking or informing on something or someone and finally he started to see my point. Funny thing is....he just got irritated about me picking up something as a gift for my sisters house which was $125 and he complained. We always spend so much damn money on his family and then he gripes when we spend a little on mine. So friggin annoying. GRRR?
