It's official, we're moving to LA!
Hello everyone! We are officially moving to Los Angeles! I'm here now and loving it. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do, but this city totally fits our lifestyle. I love the people, restaurants, and just everything about it. I'm so excited for the change!
We finally found a place yesterday so I am very relieved. We seriously had looked at 15 places, none of which were what we needed. I was afraid we were going to have to settle. Finally yesterday we found a perfect place that is literally 1/2 a block from Runyon Canyon. You just walk up the hill and there are hiking trails that overlook the city, a dog park, and free yoga classes in the grass! So amazing and so different from FL.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to take pics of our place (there are tenants in there now so I'm not sure how that will go) and I'll post them on FB. We move in about a month so I have a million things to do when I get home.
Yay!
Oh and for you Lost fans, I totally met Benjamin Linus tonight at a restaurant. Got a pic too! He was super nice and also kinda creepy.

I remember seeing on FB that you had found an apartment by that canyon and I was like "where on earth is there a canyon in South Florida?" Now it all makes sense. Congrats!
And too cool on seeing Ben. That's awesome! BTW as a Lostie, you'll appreciate that my husband was like "hey - since you had the baby early, we won't miss the Lost finale now" since it's scheduled for right around when I was originally due.

Thanks ladies! I am really excited. I know I am going to miss my family, A LOT, but I am ready for the change. I never really went far away to college (only lived Miami from Broward) so I think the experience will be good.
Melissa, that's too funny. There are definitely no canyons in FL haha. I love what your DH said about Lost! I heard Ben/Michael talking about it last night a bit. He said that he liked how they tied up the storyline with his character. He was talking more about it, but that's all I caught.
Victoria and Lala, you guys can move here too!
There are so many young people, it's great. I don't know how long we will live in Hollywood, but even the surrounding areas are awesome and way more affordable.

i had to congratulate you! you sound super excited and it reminded me of when we first decided we were moving to Austin. I also had not been much further than Plantation to Miami and moving here was such a great changing point in our lives. I hope that you both are super happy in LA!
