in the Chesapeake area been to that newm( well kind of new) restraunt Amber Lantern? Just curious if it's any good.

Have not been? and I'm trying to remember how I heard the name prior to this. If you go let me know how it is! DH and I are planning on celebrating our one year anniversary while he is home on R&R this Friday and I would like to go somewhere "nice".
We are going to try and go this weekend too. I googled them and read some reviews of the restaurant. Some good... some bad... so I guess I will just have to go and find out. I will tell you I went to this place in Va beach for New Years Eve called Havannas and the food was awesome. It's a small place, but like I said the food was great. They have a good selection of mojitos (if you like those) and they have these chicken nachos that are huge and delicious!!!
I love Havana's - they do have amazing food, mojitos (have yet to find their equal), and martinis.
DH and I ended up celebrating at Bier Garden in downtown Portsmouth, it's a favorite hang out of ours when he is home so it seemed fitting to have our 1st anniversary dinner there. Even if our "official" anniversary isn't until the end of the month.
