Truck bumper sticker - idling
So I was driving and I passed a Lays Chips truck. I caught a quick glimpse of a sticker on the back of the truck. Anyway if I read it correctly, it said to call the 800# if the truck is seen idling for more than 3 minutes.
Nice concept (if I read it right!).

Is this a state by state law? DH's father was a truck driver, but is now retired and I remember him telling me that they don't turn off the engine because it's very hard on the truck to restart it and it's worse to keep turning it off and on. I believe he said it wastes more gas to turn it off and on versus keeping it idle.
