Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Oddly Excited
My neighbor across the street (who is DH's first cousin) went to the hospital last night to have their baby. They are supposedly having a girl and I can't wait to see her. I keep stalking their other son's FB page to see if he has update anything. (The have an 18 and 16 year old, so this is def. a surprise baby).
DH thinks I'm a big dork and I tend to agree. I can understand if it was my SIL or sister having a baby, not DH's cousin. Maybe I need a baby fix for the time being and little girl at that. I will live vicariously though them at the moment.
Overall I hope the mom and baby are doing well and there are no complications. The mom is obviously on the older side (def. under 40 but I'm not sure how under).

it's fun when other people have babies - get that baby fix without having to change diapers and stay up all night
This totally freaks me out:

when my boys are 17 & 18 I'll be 40 - no way - no how - will you find me having another baby. I've given the hubs a 5 year window - once I hit 35 that window is slamming shut.
I agree it's fun to live vicariously through other people having babies! Hopefully this will cure your baby fix for the time being Mel!
