How do you know when radishes are ready?
Seeing as how this is my first time planting a veggie garden, I have no idea when to pick stuff. I planted radishes on 4/10 and there are supposed to be "mature" around 5/2, according to the seed packet. I dug around the leaf of the biggest plant, but there was just a root going down... no radish. I didn't want to disturb it too much, so I covered it back up. What am I supposed to be looking for?? Thanks!
