How the heck do I keep rabbits from eating my new lily bulbs? My dog isn't much help, she just stares at them from the deck. sprays?
Re: rabbits!
Go to the pet store and buy some puppy no-chew spray like bitter apple and spray in on your plants. It doesn't wash off in the rain like Tabasco sauce.
Be sure to either not spray on windy days OR be upwind. It's some nasty stuff and if you get it on your face, you'll be tasting it for DAYS. It won't wash off.
I've tried everything. Rabbits in our yard have eaten literally hundreds upon hundreds of dollars of plants, grass, etc.
Someone on another board mentioned putting baby powder down so i've been trying that on our lawn. I haven't noticed it getting any worse, so i'm going to keep trying it...
