Best 4th of July spot

Hi ladies,

I will be in South Carolina for the 4th of July.  Can anyone recommend a great place to see fireworks and have a romantic evening?  I am open to the entire state.

I used to live in Charleston, don't know if you'll be in that part of the state, but Sullivans Island is always our fav. spot to spend the 4th of July. Sitting on the beach and you can see the firework displays from Isle of Palms, Folly Beach, etc. It's really pretty. Hope that works out for ya!

Thank you very much!  That is exactly what I am looking for.  I want to lay on the beach and see beautiful fireworks.  I'll have to check it out.

I'm in Charleston too, we go to Patriots Point. They have food, drinks and music. It was voted one of the best firework display in the US last year. If you go plan on going anywhere in Charleston plan on getting there around 6 otherwise there may not be many places, it gets crowded fast!
