I was just there this morning!  I'd be up to run/walk on Saturday mornings. My weekday schedule is usually when DS is at preschool (around 9:30 or 10 am).

Sounds like fun to have a little running club.  By the way, do you have any idea of how long one loop is?

  • Sounds like fun but I live far north.

    Good luck!

ps - i am still on week 2.

  • no help on the running partner, but just wanted to encourage you to stick with the c25k!!

I just completed my first 5K on Sunday and did it all without walking!  I was like you and stuck on week 2 and 3 for a long time because I kept skipping.  Finally just made myself do it every MWF (i gave myself the weekends off as my reward) and it really did work (I even did the 5K during week 7, so I never made it to the end of the program, but it was still enough).   I actually started looking forward to the runs just because they were getting harder and I was able to complete them so I felt super proud of myself.  =)

anyway, if you want someone to help keep you accountable, i'd be happy to cheer you on each week and check in with you!  I'm going to continue doing it so that I can get better on my time (I completed at 37:59, which was at least 3 minutes above my goal)

  • I wish I had seen this last night! I would have totally been down. Instead I went home and went to bed at 7:30 Wink

The loop is 1.43 miles according to my iPhone GPS. I have no idea how accurate it is, though.

My schedule is so wonky, I don't know if I could commit to regular times, but I'd love to go when we can get people together!
