Breakfast recommendations?

My family and I are going to be visiting Portland at the end of May, can anyone recommend some must try restaurants for breakfast? Thanks

Re: Breakfast recommendations?

  • The champange brunch at the Benson's London Grill on Sundays is amazing.  There's so many different items and the champange is bottomless.  I've also heard many recommendations for Mother's Bistro.  There's always a line out the door on weekends.  And of course Voodoo donuts!

  • Mother's is awesome but expect to wait for a long time as it's probably the most commonly recommend breakfast joint in town. I would also recommend broder, Milo's City Cafe, Waffle Window, Bijou Cafe, Papa Haydn and Petite Provence. Honestly, Portland is a city of fabulous breakfast places. I would recommend checking out reviews on Yelp.
  • I love Beesaw's in NW but again expect it to be pretty crowded on Sundays.
  • saturday breakfast at Bob's Red Mill!!

  • H and I had breakfast at Bread & Ink Cafe on SE Hawthorne & 36th a month or so ago; fantastic food, good service, and we didn't have to wait for a table.
