the evil that is Proctor & Gamble bought up Natura (maker of Innova, EVO, California Natural and Karma)

Re: Pet foods (GR)
Grr...
I loved California Natural. We switched to Felidae grain free because we narrowed down Fat Cat's problem to a grain intolerance, but I was hoping CN would make a GF someday soon and we could switch back to their brand.
Dislike
Sorry to break it to you, but DelMonte makes Nature's Recipe. They're only a two star on http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/
The ladies on the pets board could probably recommend a better quality food if you're interested in a change.
Canidae, Merrick, Natural Balance and Wellness are independent companies that make better pet foods.
Excellent. I feed the herd Wellness. I used to feed Canidae (with no issue), but apparently there were some broader problems a couple years ago when they switched formulas so my local pet food store stopped selling it.
I do say that my herd in aggregate does not add up to one of Alisha A's 'wee beasties.' That must be a lot of dog food.
