Cinco De Mayo
Wow--I'm super last minute but are any restaurants having any specials or anything tonight? I really live in Schertz but will go to SA. If you are reading this after Cinco De Mayo I'd love to hear your Mexican food rec's for the Schertz/Cibolo/Universal City area!

So I live in Schertz, too and I have no recommendations for Mexican food. There just aren't any good ones in our area. Don't waste your time with Garcia's on 3009; it's not good. Chuy's is good, but it's not true Mexican food. I know that Martha's is supposed to open a restaurant on 3009, but I don't know when that's happening. A friend told me about a Mexican restaurant on FM 78 just north of 3009. I can't remember what it's called, but she said it was cheap and good. If you go, let me know what you think.
Honestly, I'd just go into SA or into New Braunfels for decent Mexican food.
