Your blog won't let me post a comment!  Just wanted to say congrats and I got off the Plate a bunch of weeks ago but I think I need to get back on that.  I didn't have a scale in the Bahamas but we have one here and I used it the other day.  Let's just say, I weigh about 10 lbs more than I thought I did, which is also 10 lbs heavier than my previous heaviest!  EW!!

Re: *Melko*

  • thanks! I'll have to look into the comment thing...

I've tried a few calorie counting websites, but I think I like the plate the best because there are so many things already programed in there.

I think one of the hardest things is to keep strict on it after the initial week haha...we'll see how this week goes!

As for the scale, was it one that you've used before? I seem to get different readings scale to scale. For example, my parent's scale puts me five lbs under what I usually do..so we bought one, and I've only been counting what I see on that scale.

     Goodluck!

  • No this scale is brand new, it was a wedding present.  DH is becoming a bit of a health freak now that he's been in med school awhile, and this scale does fancy stuff like it determines your fat percentage and a bunch of other stuff that I don't know what it's for, haha.

It's probably more accurate than my parent's dinosaur which was the only other scale I've used previous.  Anyway, I don't think I'm going to even step foot on it until I've changed my eating habits for a week.  I started today so far so good.
