Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Windows has detected an IP address conflict
Another computer on this network has the same IP address as this computer. Contact your network administrator for help resolving this issue. More details available in the Windows System event log.
This is an error message that keeps popping up on my screen, and I don't know what it means. I'm the only computer in the house, and I'm on a wired connection.
Re: Windows has detected an IP address conflict
Do you have anything connected wirelessly? Gaming system, iPhone, etc.?
If you haven't done so already, restart the computer.
If that doesn't help, follow these instructions to make sure you are obtaining your IP automatically: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081110104441AAvLGFa . (Yeah, it's Yahoo answers
, but those steps should be what you need.)
