XP: Garden party decor (First Birthday)

I thought I'd keep this separate from her party pics where she is the star but I did a few things that I thought were cute and maybe someone would get some decorating inspiration. I started out garden party but ended up mostly flowers (I forgot the butterfly decorations in the closet).

I got her invite off of tinyprints. I loved this one and just didn't have the time to try and design a knockoff for myself.

I made her Happy Birthday banner by cutting out the circles (Martha Stewart circle cutter) and using stamps and embossing powder for the letters. Then it was all strung on ribbon after using a hole punch to cut the holes for the ribbon to go through.

For general decor I did the balloon flowers with light and hot pink balloons. I did the small ones using 5in balloons (they were real tough to blow up) and the larger ones were 12 inches. I ordered from Pretty Party Palace - if anyone wants these balloons I have a ton extra so just pay for shipping and they are yours. I also used the Martha Stewart tissue paper pom pom kit since I could not find the larger sized tissue paper to make them myself like I did for my sister's baby shower. Then on the walls and the gift table table cloth I put paper flowers from a hole punch.

I got her bib off of etsy from TiniBibs

Here are here flower cupcakes. They are a chocolate cupcake with green buttercream frosting (I used the Wilton gel dye, the liquid food coloring was not cutting it for a vibrant green). The lollipops and flowers are made out of candy clay which you make at home from Wilton candy chips and corn syrup. I used the red and pink chips so I didn't have to color anything and then used cookie cutters after rolling out the candy clay. I made these a few days a head of time so that they had time to harden again and they stood up nicely even though it was hot that day.

Her cake, also decorated with the candy flower cutouts.
