Rec your easy to use tiller

Hope no one minds that I'm doing a drive by posting...figured I'd just go to the experts.

I want to buy my mom an easy to use manual tiller for Mother's day.  Anyone have any recs on what I should get her?  She just wants one for some light gardening in the backyard.

 TIA

Re: Rec your easy to use tiller

  • We bought an electric rototiller at Lowe's 3 years ago and absolutely LOVE it.  Yes, it's a bit heavy, but soooo worth it.  We replant every season and it has become an invaluable tool.  If ours broke tomorrow, I would have no hesitation in purchasing another.  It has about a 10" tilling wheel and goes about 6" deep.

This has saved both my and my husband's backs, hips, muscles, etc. so much pain.
