Putting in a hedge
We have some awful fencing in our backyard that really needs to be torn out. I've been thinking about putting in a hedge instead. We have a small hedge in the front yard now, but it was long established when we moved in. I've never started a new one.
If you have tips or thoughts on hedges, I would love to hear them. I have no idea how long they take to grow in (assuming you start with small plants), or if you try to find larger plants. It would be a fairly large undertaking, but anything is better than that rickety old fence.
