Reducing keyboard sensitivity?
I am a very fast typist and my keyboard seems to be quite sensitive. As I type, I often get new windows popping up, words being erased, pages being closed, etc.. Is there any way to reduce the sensitivity of my keyboard? It's incredibly annoying, particularly when entire emails (or Nest posts
) get deleted.
FWIW, I'm on a Dell Inspiron/Vista.
Re: Reducing keyboard sensitivity?
I use a Dell Inspiron at home w/Windows 7 and notice this too. I also agree w/the pp, in that it's not the keyboard that is the issue, it is how close the touchpad is to the keyboard and that my hand is always halfway on top of it as I type.
I'm not sure what to do about it...
I reduced the sensitivity of my touch pad, so we'll see how things go. If it doesn't fix things, I'll switch to an external mouse. So far, so good, but I've only typed a couple things thus far.
Thanks for the suggestion!
