Where should we take MIL?
we're celebrating tomorrow since we're going to my mom's on Sunday. She likes bland food. We're going somewhere around 2 PM (after DH recovers a bit from RiverBank). Trying to think of somewhere other than Chili's or Applebee's (they ALWAYS want to go to chain restaurants).

Kentwood - Fleetwood Diner on 44th street - basic menu but locally owned
Ugghh...I'm drawing a blank. My ILs like all the traditional "old dutch people" places - Arnies, Russ, Rainbow Grill, 44th Street Diner.
I think Arnie's is a good idea.
Also, perhaps Walker Roadhouse.
They have a new, nicer Rainbow Grill in Hudsonville.
We also end up at Damons or Villa Inn with them.
I just go with the flow and know I'm going to have basic food
At least with Arnies you get free cupcakes....yummmm
