PIP-Help us landscape our new construction home
I'd love to do some red flowers of some sort in the front, a shrub or bush on the corner and something down the side of the house. However, we don't want to spend a fortune and I'm completely new at this. Advice? (p.s. Our home is only 3/4 of the way done, we will have grass soon lol).

Head to the library and pick up this book. I have my local version and it's very helpful. It gives you a quick descriptive paragraph of each plant, then its basic specs.
