Can I use castile to wash walls?

I'm a recent Dr. Bronner's convert and I love that it can be used to clean just about anything. I have a few rooms that need their walls washed, can I use the liquid soap in water for this too? How much soap per bucket of water?

Re: Can I use castile to wash walls?

  • 1 - Yes

2 - I never measured.  Just a squirt.  I put a squirt of castile soap and a splash of vinegar in an empty spray bottle, then fill it the rest of the way with water.  If I had to guess, I'd say a tablespoon or so of soap, 1/4 c vinegar, the rest is water.

Now that I have dirty dogs rubbing against my walls, the vinegar solution doesn't cut it.  I use a steam cleaner and it goes so much faster with much less elbow grease.
